I understand how life can become unmanageable and you are not able to live your best life. I have experienced and treated post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), nightmares, unwanted memories, avoidance of situations that bring back memories, heightened reactions, anxiety, depressed mood, agitation, irritability, hostility, hypervigilance, self-destructive behavior, social isolation, flashbacks, fear, severe anxiety, mistrust, loss of interest or pleasure in activities, guilt, loneliness, sleep disturbances, and emotional detachment.
Together, we identify the direction you want to go in and personalize therapy to help you uncover strengths and learn new skills that will allow you to deal with the challenges that arise in daily life without needing professional help. My goal is to give you tools and skills that allow you to thrive on your own.
Many things can keep us from living our best lives including unwanted emotions like anxiety, sadness, fear and depression. I have experienced these things in my own life and I started helping others as I was helped. I hope you find emotional freedom. If not with me now, then with someone and sometime soon.
